
 Don Kluting has spend a life time in the wilds of Southeast Alaska, hiking, hunting, fishing and as a volunteer member and director of Sitka Mountain Rescue Team. Don has over 26 years donated to search and rescue work in Southeast Alaska and has traveled all over the state to respond to SAR missions. Don resides in Sitka with his wife Karen and their two sons, Trevor and Logan. He also shares his residence with two golden retrievers Summit and Talus. Photography is a life long passion of Don's and he is fulflling a dream taking pictures of Southeast Alaska. The photo above shows a recent encounter with a Brown Bear we met out camping.
